I think the intro is done by Justin de-tuning his bass and bending the neck, at least I think I read that somewhere

couldnt be, Paul D'Armour was still the Tool Bassist for Undertow; but i did hear a similar explanation as to how the sound was made

Metallica- One, fade to black, master of puppets, first track in album ride the lightning. The live songs from S & M sound beautiful with the orchestra.

System of a down- Chopsuey, Temper, Toxicity, Cubert, radio/video.

Tool: Schism (I think that is the name.).

Pink floyd: Good bye blue sky.

Nirvana: The man who sold the world (Live), Lithium.

Iron Maiden: Hollowd be thy name.

Eric Clapton: Tears in heaven.

Creed: What if (Nice intro, but the rest of the song is horrible IMO)

Alice in chains: Down in A hole.

Guns and Roses: November Rain, Sweet Child of mine.

Korn: Another Break in the Wall (Parts 1, 2, and 3 into one song, originally performed by Pink Floyid)

This are a few of my favorite intros. My favorite is the intro of system of a down's song, Temper.

Cream: "Sunshine of your Love"
Led Zep: "Heartbreaker"
Iron Butterfly: "In-a-gadda-da-vida"

How about the reversed piano and crisp harmonics of Yes' "Roundabout"?
