Heavy or Light headphones? Eh, depends on where I'm using them. Heavy is fine at home, but I'd prefer light on the go.
Ideal headband that already exists? V-Moda M100 Headband, it fits my head perfectly.
Dual entry/Single sided? Dual Entry
3.5mm, 6.3mm or XLR plug ? 3.5mm
Headphone pad's material? Lambskin
Shape of headphone cups? Round
Earcup's clamping force? Medium clamping force.
Length of cable? 4 foot with a 6 foot extension for at home.
AWG of cable ? 26awg for flexibility.
Detachable or hard wired cable? DETACHABLE!

Wood/plastic/graphite/metal headphones? Not important so long as it's durable.
Color? Black, grey, white, or silver (unless it's wood).
On ear/Around ear/IEM? Fully over ear, none of this half on / half off bulls***.
Size of Driver? At least 40 mm.
Type of Driver? Dynamic.
What Ohm driver? Doesn't seem to matter. I've had good-sounding ones of all sorts, 32-400.
Sound signature? Mid-centric or Harman curve.
Heavy or Light headphones? Light.
Ideal headband that already exist? Classic AKG suspension.
Dual entry/Single sided? Single sided.
3.5mm, 6.3mm or XLR plug? 1/4" preferred but not so important.
Headphone pad's material? Cloth. See K501, SRH1540.
Shape of headphone cups? Round.
Earcup's clamping force? Very light. If the headband fits close and the cups are deep enough, it will stay on.
Length of cable? 4-6 feet.
AWG of cable? So long as it doesn't bear any noise.
Detachable or hard wired cable? Detachable is better only if the connectors are fully recessed.
