I was looking at some Shure E5c's and a SuperMini, but didnt know how quality the amp is, and how well it would drive the phones.

Greetings. I use my 40G Zen NX with a combination of the Supermini V6/Xin mini to mini interconnect and the Sony V6. My mp3's are encoded with LAME using the alt-preset standard setting and I am very happy with the results. I use this setup five days a week going to and from work on the train and I easily drown out any external noise with very clear, undistorted music. Hope this helps.

You might want to wait for the upcoming SuperDual which is supposed to be better. Here's a thread on it from the Amplification forum .
