So let's say you have that pair of earphones. What would you buy if you wanted the next best thing over it, whilst keeping the sound signature (wide soundstage, clear, balanced) without breaking bank (not necessarily the same price but not high-end territory either).

Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be a new model either.

Many thanks for the input.

How big is the difference for you? Percentage-wise?
Any significant points worth mentioning about the sound signature?

I've read a lot of reviews and they seem to be overwhelmingly positive.

I did walk the same update path a while ago. My current preferences are Tennmak Dulcimers, HSLX-808 and HSLX-BK50. I would say try the HSLX.

Many thanks for the input.

Hard to tell a percentage number, the difference for me is so large however that my Pistons are gathering dust in the drawer however.

Check out 1clearheads words about the BK50:

I have also ordered the **** 4-in-1 as I always found his recommendations spot on (for my ears & equipment), but I have not yet received them.
