I'm thinking about getting the WooAudio3. I have searched this forum quite a bit and even tried to find the right tubes on some recommended sites but the numbers are confusing me.

One 6AS7 / 6080 [PDF] power tube - is the number 6AS7 or 6080?

Two 6922 / 6DJ8 [PDF] drive tubes - is the number 6922 or 6DJ8?

I'd like to have both driver and power tubes to roll. Just for starters - I'm a newbie here. Also, should I always keep a backup of the syock tubes around just in case? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

The stock power tube is the 6AS7 and the drive tubes are 6992s.

I just got my WA3 about a month ago, and yesterday I swapped out the power tube with a Tung Sol (cetron branded) NOS 7236. I'm still letting it burn in though. The general consensus for power tubes are either the Tung Sol 5998 or 7236 (as jeffrey stated). The thread he linked you to has all the info you would ever need on the WA3.
