currently I am using this setup:
mp3 (192-320 kbit) -> realtek hd audio (asrock mainboard) -> z-audio lamdba -> beyerdynamic dt770
when I upgraded my headphones I noticed a huge difference in soundquality.
when I bought the z-audio lamdba a few months later the improvement was pretty minimal. but as I live in germany and bought the amp in the US, I didnt return it.
maybe because the source is so bad?
now, a few years later I am willing to spend some more money to improve the soundquality of my setup.
will a DAC improve the soundquality noticably?
what DAC can I get in germany that costs around $150.
I am listening primarily to electronical music and pop. I like a warm and deep sound.
I am looking forward to some suggestions from you on what to spend my money on.
