Hi all!
I have a pair of b&w p7's and some modded sony mdr-1rmk2's, really enjoy them both but I have an urge to spend more money (yup, thanks head-fi!).
Only thing I'm not sure about is where I should go next. Either an upgrade to better headphones for a home rig or a dac/amp like the headstage arrow or ibasso D6. I currently have no amp or decent dac so I know that would potentially be an upgrade to both my current headphones but I really enjoy trying out new headphones too.
One other question - could a modded fostex t50rp potentially sound better than either of my current headphones? I can get them for $100 and I enjoy modding and fiddling around with stuff so that would be no issue to me either and possibly a lot of fun tweaking it to my liking.
