Greetings,

I have recently purchased a pair of DT770's (250OHM) to pair with my Fiio E17/Ipod Classic/Laptop. Have to say I have been absolutely amazed at the sound.
Rather than switching my E17 between my portable rig and my desktop setup I have been considering picking up the Schiit Stack (Magni/Modi). What I am
wondering is, is the Schiit stack a good addition to my DT770's or should I just stick with switching around my E17 ? Any thoughts or suggestions are most appreciated.

Regards,

I haven't heard E17, but if its anything like the E07k then there is a big difference in clarity, also less volume play I do 10 o'clock Max and play until 7:30, good luck

My schiit stack came recently (2 days old), this is my first experience with quality audio. I will try to go out and audition more gear (at headphone meets) so far, i have been pleased. We'll see how it compares with similar priced gear.
