What to do with packing peanuts?

I put them in a bag and store them in the garage. May come handy some day..

I think it unwise to use packing peanuts to store any electronic component as it may be a ESD hazard.

Smash them into tiny pieces and throw them at a wall of televisions at an electronics store.
