I've had a intermittent Yamaha HTR-5280 receiver lying around for a while now, and I'm not sure what to do with it. The power on it randomly cuts out, usually when there's audio signal going through it. For the price they want to fix it, I can just get another receiver, but I am wondering if there is anything worth doing to it other than throwing it out in the trash?
