For what it's worth, headphones.com has a good comparison between Ananda and Arya--think they say basically that the Aryas should be considered only if you are willing to EQ them. Another thing to consider is Hifiman's quality control and if you buy the Anandas you'll get warranty in case there is an issue. I personally picked up a pair of Anandas last week and have no complaints at all with it, great frequency response and clarity.
