Help! Just today I received:
Aimee Mann - Bachelor No.2
an Original Master Recording from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, Inc.
Hybrid SACD on Ultradisc UHR.

And the wretched thing doesn't play in my Denon DVD-2900! It doesn't get recognized at all, the player spins it up for 2 seconds and then displays 00:00:00 as is does when there is no disc inside. The CD-layer can be read by other CDPs and my Mac without problem. Argh! I imported this thing from Florida and it took weeks to get it! ARGH!

Is this a common problem?! It is the first time ever I experience a seemingly defective SACD.

I think SACD do not work on some computer drives because of the copy protection.

Ai, that's right. The Denon DVD-2900 is a dedicated SACD Player though. The redbook part works fine on my Mac (as it always does, never had a problem), but the *whole disc* is ignored by the dedicated player.
