Ouch used PC/Multimedia speakers for $80? U can do much much better - hit a receiver/amp and bookshelf + you can add a nice 8-10" sub later and have better SQ

Ok, but i plan on using these for computer. I know my grandma has a reciver with a sub and some speakers by sony they are old though. What could I get for around 80$?

Hmm the Yammy sub apears down firing and you have to clarify with the seller on the exact model of speakers/amp

The Yamaha QRD subs aren't terrible, but I've never heard an Onkyo speaker that I liked. The whole thing for $75 is better than the other set though.

Would like to see a rear-end of that Sony before buying though.
