I use XLD and in 99.9% of cases it does the job, however once in a while I encounter a weird CD rip as a simple lumped file which cannot be opened by XLD.

Any alternative?

P. S. Amadeus Pro doesn't help either, as it doesn't support cue files (and there is no utility in converting it to an equally lumped ALAC – I need every song as a separate file, and cutting it manually is too much of a pain).

Been using Poikosoft's EZ CD Audio Converter for years to rip my CDs, convert audio and edit metadata for years. Its fast, easy and thorough.
