I use XLD and in 99.9% of cases it does the job, however once in a while I encounter a weird CD rip as a simple lumped file which cannot be opened by XLD.

Any alternative?

P. S. Amadeus Pro doesn't help either, as it doesn't support cue files (and there is no utility in converting it to an equally lumped ALAC – I need every song as a separate file, and cutting it manually is too much of a pain).

Thanks, but apparently it's Windows-only.

I know that Media Human Audio Converter is fast and free and does ALAC. Pretty sure it works on Mac and Windows.

Beside a ripper it is also a format converter
