I actually like the song, it brings on a personal feeling cause I live that everyday about how I see some girl and I know I never will be with her..

of course I think it is cheaply written and could use a bit more talent...but as a music lover I must say the songs vales a meaning to me..I like it.

I'm kind of surprised about the bashing James Blunt is getting since that wasn't exactly the point of my post.

Basically I was just wondering what, if anything, should be done in that situation. Say you meet someone who you want more than anything in the world. You realize that you can't be with this person though because they're already married, or you don't even know them other than an occasional hello, or their sexual orientation is probably different from yours, or there is a significant age difference between you, or you come from two different worlds. Whatever the reason, all logic tells you it just wouldn't be right to even try to pursue this person. Deep down though, you know this person is the one for you.

What should you do? Nothing? Take a cold shower? Tell the person how you feel just to get it off your chest? If you were to meet this person in passing and probably never see them again I suppose it's not a big deal. But what if, going about your regular business, it's unavoidable that you run into the person a few times a week? What then?
