Let me get things straight, I love these headphones to death, but this is the 2nd pair in a row that has succombed to the annoying "rattling" or "buzzing" issue. Whenever certain low frequencies get played, the headphones start freaking out and rattle. Quite annoying. Checked for hair or any dust in the drivers, nothing. Just ridiculous, don't know why these cans are so prone to this issue.

Anyways, I'm looking for recommendations for alternates. Talking mucho bass/warmy sounding. Should I go with the D2000? I've heard lots of good about the bass with those.

I'm a lost cause, flustered, if you will. Any help is appreciated, KILL MY WALLET HEAD-FI!

You could try to locate a Sennheiser HD265. They're discontinued now, but new units are to be found.

x2 on the Darths. I just love 'em! When you're in a basshead mood, there is just no substitute. none.
