I already have an Ipod and I just bought a TOPPING NX1 to pair up with.
I'm just getting started and I want to buy a cheap mp3 player to use on-the-go.
Which one is better the Ruizu x02 or the Xduoo X2. If I buy one of these should I get and amp?
Answer will be very appreciated.

Having read nothing about either apart from the specs I would say the xDuoo looks like the easy choice. But as you said, there are threads for both of these so some reading is in order. As for getting an amp for it that would depend on what headphones/IEMs you are using. 250mw at 32ohms is pretty decent and should have no problems driving reasonably sensitive cans. But on the other hand I tend to think everything sounds better amped

It has several variations
Simple good but trebly audio can be used with either earphones or headphones
