I'm somewhat of an IEM collector. I've used full sized cans in the past but my lifestyle makes them somewhat impractical. I have the SE530's and Triple.fi's and I think I will get a set of customs next. Now without spending over $400 are there that many options out there or should I go for the Livewires. I really like the looks of the Livewires regardless of cost. The cabling looks nice and I like the matte black backing to them. If there is anything that I'm over looking please let me know otherwise my next step will probably be to get some livewires.

I guess I'm living the simple life since my first IEMs were the ER-4S, and I've never even entertained the idea of trying to upgrade them as I have with most of my headphones. Have you never tried these? Also, the way I see it is that if they fit properly and are comfortable, there doesn't seem to be much of an argument for customs.
