my wife VACUUMED my W30 by accident (it fell down under my desk and she couldn't see it ) !
the right side is OK but the left side is broken as seen in the pictures . Westone won't do repair service on universal IEM that 's out of warranty so i took it to the electric repair shop close by , but the guy didn't want to  fix it , he said he'll have to cut the thing in half to re solder the broken part properly and it might not be working ,still .
i have few other pairs ( i actually just use this accident as an excuse to order AudezeSine10 lol - ) but is there anyway to save the left side and get it to work again ? They aren't the best pair i have but they are one of the 1st nice ones i have so i kinda *attached* to them 
maybe i should keep my eyes open , in case someone 's selling *Westone W30 left side only* on ebay one day !

Hair dryer or scalpel it in half.
Solder those wired back on to the mmcx plug.
It's one day's work, a bit of research and an hour of tinkering.
The custom iem thread has lots of info, "home made iem's" I think it's called
