I have the Graham Slee Voyager also and I am using it with SR80's. It has been a very, very enjoyable combo. The combo sounds good with all types of music too; ie rock, metal, classical, jazz, accoustic

How do we know how much current an amp can produce?
And how much current exactly do Grados need?

Any specific (brand - model) recommendation?
Thanks before

With Grado's I find that you need an amp which is a bit warm and punchy. To that effect I have enjoyed (in no particular order):

1. LaRocco PRII MkII
2. TTVJ Portable Millet
3. SR71 or The Hornet
4. Voyager
5. Xin Reference
6. MiniBox-E+ w/ AD797 op-amps

Good luck in your search.

mrarroyo,

I have to agree with you that the TTVJ and Grado are just about a match made in heaven (if you can stand some ping noise from the tubes) when looking at portable amps. I am not a Grado person, but it is hard not to like that combo.
