It looks like the x5, but I don't need the photo junk. I junt want a player that plays on par with 20mhw output. Any suggestions? What is the output of the zen touch, and zen micro? It's not listed on their website. Thanks.

If you want 20mW, iPods, Karma, X5, etc. A lot of players output is that high or higher.

Micro is rated 7 mW, BTW.

Is higher the better? For powering headphones or battery life? Is 7mW for the Micro ok?

I'd imagine a sony D-5 would trounce anything else... if you want to call that portable

I think the Creative Jukebox (the huge thing) has a 50mW/channel output. That's definetely the highest I know of an MP3 player.
