How about the K701s? I think they're very good with instrumental music and female vocal.

You been getting good reccomendations already, I'd just like to add a bit.
The K271S is uncolored and pleasent. It's bass is a bit light but that's the only complaint I have.
The Omega II and the Simga Pro are two "darker" sounding Stax.
