Hi,
I've digitized a lot of LPs over the past several years using my wonderful Chaintech AV-710 sound card, which is a PCI card. But I got a new PC this year, and last night when I opened it up to install the Chaintech I discovered the PC's motherboard doesn't have any PCI slots --- just PCI-E x16 and PCI-E x1.
So what the state of the art for line-in recording nowadays? I'm open to internal PCI-E or external USB devices, as long as they perform well. Anybody using something that's really working well on a recent, Win7 PC?
Thanks!
