Hi Guys,

I have am looking for a powerful solution for my desk to be used as a multimedia station and roon endpoint that
---------------------------> does not kill my nerves with a hefty fan noise...

I read that imacs are loud, I have a Gigabyte Aero it is loud and it is quite funny to "invest" in 600 € silver cables that get the 0.003% out of my System to be coloured by a loud shhhhhhh by a fan

If I buy a desktop PC with a strong processor would watercooling be a solution?

What is your pc for?
Are you playing games or some graphic intense stuff?

If not, do yourself a favour and take a look at a Surface Pro 7/8.
Use it by myself coupled with my R28 dac/amp via the docking station and it works like a charm.

I do foto editing of very large files while listening to music and it never runs out of juice.

I mainly sit at a desk, so a big display would be nice - not too many graphics intense stuff, casual games and multitasking. I will look at the surface.
