My LCD2s are fantastic! Except they are very bulky. What lightweight closed cans sound like it (ie lots of sub bass - quality and quantity, detailed midrange and treble but not bright not sibilant)?
 
Budget around say $250-500.

(I know the HD650 is open, but is that a bit like the LCD2?)

I think you might find it difficult to find something similar to the LCD-2 for that price.
 
Maybe the Hifiman HE-400i.... Maybe.
 
Closed Cans.... Alpha dogs or fostex?
 
Still, its a bit of a guessing game for me.
