This is the musician AUBE, with his laptop set-up...
can anyone recognize what kind of laptop this is? I know the G lights up similar to the macbook. (other pics surfacing on the net)

Seeing that it looks like Alu and looking at the power cord, could it be a Powerbook G4, with a sticker over the Apple-logo?

it's possible but the size and gray bordering leads me to think it's something else...

That is a Powerbook G4. Looks like a 17" but it may be a 15". It isn't a gray border it is just where the screen curves the light hits differently and looks darker.

ahhh, so the sticker isn't the middle part but actually a huge white sticker?? and the silver in the middle (the square) is actually the titanium color?

No, it looks like the "G" is the sticker (the colored square).

Yeah, definitely a PowerBook with a sticker over the Apple logo IMO.
