My first language is English.
I spent a large chunk of my childhood in Germany (my father was in the armed forces), so I used to be conversant in German.
However, after living back in Scotland for 20 years, I have forgot a lot of it because I haven't had to speak German for a long time. I listen to Rammstein and can understand what Till Lindemann is singing though.
I know some French as well, though I have been told that my pronunciations are off so it sounds strange to native French speakers.
