What is Your Headphone Spending to Head-Fi Posts Ratio?
Sep 14, 2005 at 10:48 PM Post #16 of 94
Headphones: 200
Other gear: 2000
total = 2200

Posts = 6760

6760 Posts / 2200 Dollars = 3 Posts per Dollar, haha

or

2200 dollars / 6760 posts = 30 cents per post!

I think I win

*other gear does not include computer gear, it includes but is not limited to: MD Players, MD Recorders, MP3 Players, CD Players, Stereos, Speakers, Amplifiers, Decks, Cables and Power Conditioners.

If I really think about it, I think I'm being conservative, lol! I mean, I payed on average 90 bucks for each MD unit and I have 11, a 150 dollar deck 150 dollar stereo 150 dollar speakers, 250 dollar sub, etc. lol...that's 3670 so yeah... a wee bit conservative...

...and thinking about how much my gear actually was...

OKAY>>>>NEW ESTIMATES = 4.5k on gear, 200 on phones: (lol that is so unbalanced, haha) = 4700 dollars, 4700/6760 = 70 Cents per post

Just headphones, it's 3 cents per post haha.

Sadly, about 1:1. Although a lot of items are worth more than I paid for them, it is still about 1:1 whn you factor in music I've bought with the equipment.

Well, I'm biased because I'm a new member, but I have now spent (including my HF-1's, sr125s, and in-ear sony things, excluding portable discplayer phones) about $83.33 per post. If I continue this trend, I will be eating those beatles posted on the HF-1 impressions thread and selling my underwear.

Hmm... With ~200 posts, I'm about $25 per post.

Excluding music. If you include music, probably more around $30 a post.

(more exact numbers: excluding music, $25.28 per post)

Jeez, if we included music, I'd be about $820.00 per post. But of course, I'm new
