My latest favorite CDs are the performances by Rosalyn Turek of Bach's Goldbergs, Partitas and other short works on the Vai label. Many of these performances were recorded live at the home of William F. Buckley, and I have never heard any piano performance so near to perfect before. Amazing.

See ya

"No, Bohm's last recording is a later, all-digital, (and quite a bit slower)
Beethoven 9. Is it ever on cd?"

Both of Bohm's 9th's have been issued on CD. The analog version from the 70's is to be prefered to his later digital version. The digital version is just too slow, the analog one is a revelation, none finer.
