With the holiday season rolling around I know a lot of people are going to be throwing back some serious amounts of liquor. So, what sized shot glass are you going to use?

1oz is the standard size, correct? That is what I normally use. Also 1.5oz occasionally. Are there actually 4oz glasses that are considered shot glasses?

Standard shot glass for cocktail recipes is 1.5 oz. with a mark for 1 oz. Ofcourse, after a lifetime of mixing drinks, I pretty much eyeball it now. I don't do shots anymore, I don't like trying to keep a tiny glass from spilling as I raise it to my lips. Also, I can keep more than one shot in an old-fashioned glass.
