I download this http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_out_wasapi
Then I extract the .dll to my foobar components folder. I have absolutely no idea what I am supposed to do with the exe files, except I know I need the 64bit version, because there is no documentation included. Even the documentation web page says nothing on how to install it. All this version of wasapi does is crash foobar (v 1.1.11) but I had no issues with the old version of wasapi that was just the .dll and no exe.

If I remember correctly, I just double-clicked the downloaded file and foobar2000 has installed it itself. Just make sure you remove the previous version from the components folder before you do that.
My wasapi 3.0 install is now not in the Components folder, but in user-components\foo_out_wasapi folder, and both 32 and 64 bit exe files are there too.

I am using foobar in portable mode and there is no 'user-components' folder. Doesn't matter now because after doing research on ASIO, WASAPI, etc.it does nothing to improve SQ as many seem to think so there is no real good reason for me to use it anyway. Thanks anyway.
