I'm thinking that because you're very comfortable, the music seems to sound better to you. Proceed with caution, friend...

Because bathtub acoustics are awesome - moisture-laden air, built-in reverb, and there's no audience to make you self-conscious.

That's because when you are in a hot bath your 'physical mass' is warmer. So when you listen to music or vibration that vibration is more easily conducted throughout your body .

Your conductive hearing becomes better :).

Now you can test out this 'Theory' by setting your self on fire & then seeing how Good the music sounds :) .

Or alternatively if you feel that's taking the pleasure of music listening to  a whole new obsessive level you could just try sitting in a freezer for a few hours and maybe the music will sound worse . In which case theory proved .

When you feel comfortable or at ease with your self the music feels/sounds better  .

You are an extraordinarily talented singer.  You problem is you are very shy and you talents can only be unleashed in the privacy of the bathroom.  Once you get over your shyness a new career with fame, glitz, glamour and riches awaits you.

it's because the walls in the shower are flat and the room in small. and the plastic it bounces of off.. because if you stand in a closet it won't sound the same. Also water carries sound waves. weird, but true.
