John Cooper Clarke - Beasley Street

I grew up listening to this stuff.. some of the words have been changed due to censorship on TV in the 80's.

as for my thoughts on the saddest song........I dont usually go classical with these choices, since my overall knowledge of it is not extensive, but, Samuel Barbers Adagio For Strings (used as the theme for the movie "Platoon") is perhaps the saddest (and most moving) single piece of music I've ever heard............

On the money, no song comes close to this.  Listen to this and if you dont feel any emotion you have been borged!

Piece of music with the most eerie heart-wrenching moment of sadness:

How about the piece of music which was being played in the movie 'Titanic', just as Rose was discovering Jack had died. . .it might be called 'Hymn to the Sea'. . .
