I want to get a good headphone amp for under $2,000. I am considering the A18, but want to know what the next step up from that would be.
 
Headphones used:
 
DT990 (Main preferred)
HD580 Jubilee
ATH-M50
 
I would like to keep my current set of headphones.

Excellent recommendation. A personal favorite of mine and works with almost anything. Very neutral but not analytical or boring.
