I try to find new good music. I mean my favourite music may be influenced by what work exceptionally well on my old gear so it´s perhaps not the best to try out new gear with.

I see no point in really focusing that hard from the beginning. It takes time getting used to the soundstage of new headphones and such so better to wait for the hardcore listening and just let new toy syndrome last as long as it possibly can

Patience is a virtue that is really hard to master though lol
