What is the first LP/CD you bought with your own $

I'm too old to remember my 1st LP but somehow I do remember my first CD I think it was Flim and the BBs "Tricycle"
There wasn't much to be had in CDs back then, so I bought most of the Telarcs as they were issued. I still have them.

With my own money... hmmm... I thought it was Year Zero by Nine Inch Nails, but according to my order history in Amazon.co.uk I ordered a few things just under a week before it was released. Turn out to be a few of the Matrix scores and soundtracks in addition Hopes And Fears by Keane.

Still, I had been working five months by then, but I don't remember buying any CDs before then and I don't have anything prior to that in order histories I can find in online stores I've been on, so I think that must be it.

My first SACD was Journey - Escape

My first DVD-A was Tom Cochrane & Red Rider - Trapeze
