what is the difference between 8.4v and 9.2v nimh batteries?

Actually it should be 8.4V and 9.6V. The latter has one more cell inside (8 cells) than the former (7 cells). Each NiMH cell is 1.2V.

They will both work in the Hornet.

I have the doubt about the battery of Hornet and SR-71.

The capacitor of 10V is attached to Hornet and SR-71.
I have heard that there are 9.6V of Maha about 12V immediately after the charge.
I have heard that the battery of Maha of 8.4V exceeds 10V immediately after the charge.
I think that this thing is not good for the capacitor.

I am using the battery of Maha of 8.4V.

I'm sorry in strange English.

OK I just got a 8.4V. 280mah

These are supposedly good for 1000 charges. But if I just run on batt during my commute (45 min each way) then I plug it into charge once I am at work, does that consitute itself as "one" charge even though the battery is pretty full when I plug it in at work?

forsberg: Probably. My experience with rechargables is that they last two to three years, almost irregardless of how I charge/discharged them. I really don't count any more and just plan on replacing them every so often.
