Have you considered the Martin Logan Mikros 90 closed portables?
A steal at current street prices (now available for about $85 w/MSRP of $299.95).  
Get them positioned correctly and amped adequately and they will amaze you.

Other options?  Tyll of www.innerfidelity.com has the Sennheiser HD239 on his wall of fame and they are around $52 on Amazon.

I personally like the sound of the HD219 more and it's available on Amazon for around $39.  
 
The HD239 is open back and the HD219 is closed back.  
 
The Koss I mentioned before are both open back.  A lot of Koss stuff is under $85.  I've heard good things about the Koss DJ100 is $43 on Amazon.  I haven't listened to it so I can't say much about it.
 
What types of music are going to be using these with?  Where are you buying from?  The Grado SR60i is on Amazon for $79.
