What is considered "lossless" music

I believe you are right. The file on the computer is the lossless file, but when it is transferred I'm getting the 352 lossy file. In actuality, it's a whole lot better than what I had before- files converted to higher bit rates, some more than once. So whatever the case, it's a world of difference compared to the sound I was getting out of the DAP before. Never really realized how much MP3 compression took away from the music. It's been an eye-opening experience.
