Tonally and subjectively, no. On a technical basis (the price you are paying) it is indeed superior with driver agility. Piano, cowbells, ride cymbals - any instrument that is impact operated, eg triangle, and not blown, plucked or stroked - are clearly rendered more realistically with better definition, attack and decay.
