what open back headphone has a similar sound as the SONY Z1R for 500-1200?

This won't be the same obviously, but maybe something in a similar ball park could be the ZMF Aeolus. I haven't heard to MDR-Z1R, but from what I have read, they are a warmer sounding headphone that is great to chill and listen to music and the ZMF Aeolus may fit that bill.

Second the ZMF Aeolus. It was the first headphone that came to mind. Also, check out the Klipsch HP-3 as well if you can.
