Morning session with Ruviest Prelude and Simgot Dew4x, the new album from Men I Trust on the menu. Maybe their best, an older vibe to it that's really nice. And as in usual style from them melodic and relaxing listen.

UM Mest Jet Black with Shanling M8T

https://tidal.com/browse/album/424251471?u

Morning session waiting for a delivery to start the workday, listening to a recced psychedelic electronica album. Could have liked more mid bass thump for this, but at the same time the sound reaches deep in the sub bass so it does sound veey good.

Been a bit quiet here lately because I've been delving into older records, which I've already posted, and I've been laying off the new releases or newer records, but now I'm starting to bring in newer listens, and this is one of them :

Florian Weiss' Woodism - Inner Garden (2024). Well recorded and beautifully executed contemporary jazz, with some frenetic passages, as well as contemplative ones, come together with a swingy flare. Excellent test album too. Just got the Juzear x ZEOS Defiant in, and they're tuned nu-meta, but they are a fun meta, with fairly incisive but safely tuned treble. Enjoyable for jazz with a bassy edge.

Juzear x ZEOS Defiant > Sony NW-A306 (untethered).
