I just bought a motorola handsfree,

and I dont like either the sound nor the fit, I cant stand it for more than 10 minutes, it hurts really bad. So Im thinking on adapting some MX400 or MX500. Do you think it should work?

Sure, why not. Lob off the crappy buds with a stripper, then strip some of the insulated black wire, then solder your mx's to the wires.
