What headphones did you have when you bought your first amp?

AKG K501 because they sure needed an amp! I ended up with a (pre-2k) Rega Ear and modded the heck out of it. It was a great setup -- many hours of enjoyment.

sr-60 (Thanks to Burt's in Kingston NY) lead me to porta corda mk1 thanks to this evil place. $100s later I'm disturbingly happy thanks to Sennheiser, Musical Fidelity and Cambridge Audio (and Carla Bruni at the moment).

Your first amp is the Aristaeus to use with the Sennheiser HE90 Orpheus headphones. Wow.

Grado SR 225 and Shure e2c.

I bought the amp specifically to see how much I could get out of the new Grados. They are sweet with no amp, so I can't wait to see what they're like with it. Got the amp a couple days ago and waiting on ALO Vampire so I can find out. Mail taunts me every day I wait!
