I don't have the MK1's on the ship, so I can't say. I am impressed so far, however, they lack the spatial presentation and truly deep bass response that the original Omegas and HE 90's have. Of course, they need lots of burn time! I will keep you posted, and plan on bringing back my MK1's on my next trip home.

I'm truly impressed by how deep the bass is in the SR-007 MK1 (I wouldn't be surprised if my next speakers didn't reproduce bass this deep). Same with any lack of midbass hump. These are incredibly resolving headphones.
