I don't have the MK1's on the ship, so I can't say. I am impressed so far, however, they lack the spatial presentation and truly deep bass response that the original Omegas and HE 90's have. I'm truly impressed by how deep the bass is in the SR-007 MK1 (I wouldn't be surprised if my next speakers didn't reproduce bass this deep). Same with any lack of midbass hump. These are incredibly resolving headphones.
