They cost $350 and were made in conjunction with Monster. Not to hate on the headphones as I assume they're pretty good, but I'd be really surprised if they were better than Alessandro's MS2 or even Grado's SR225 that retails for $200.

They do look like some sort of custom IEM to me.

They made set for every member of the Olympic Basketball team. They would have had better press if they gave a pair to Michael Phelps.....
