What headphone would you get based purely on looks?

There she is.
I am enjoying the Feliks echo you sold to me pairing it with the verite! It's a very enjoyable pairing so warm and lush sounding.

It would be like wearing a Lemon Tree on your ears.
What's not to love.

I feel like the AKG k701/702 is the pot head's visual appeal of choice headphone. HD800S is the "flagship endgame" of choice for the big brain wannabe educated headphone people. Then you got the boutique luxury no name multi thousand dollar woodgrain headphones with giant tube amp for the big wigs with no headphone education but got the big bucks. HD650 for the neutral heads who fail to admit their hd650 is actually dark and veiled and warm and is in no way neutral.

Speaking about the HD650s. I don't see people ever mention them as being pretty. I love their understated design.

Funny, I've always seen the HD 650 as the ugly twin brother of the HD 600 (2019 restyled version). I guess the grey and the touch of blue make all the difference to me. 😍

But look-wise only ? We have to mention the original Nighthawk here, with its liquid wood and its suspension mechanism that is second to none :

And the Kenwood KH-83 is another vintage headphone with quite a look about it
