I'm still new here and I'm trying to figure out the bet way to take my rig to the next level. I'm using an iPod Touch 16GB and I'm in the process of re-ripping all my music to Apple Lossless. I usually use Shure SE530's and I'm pretty happy with the sound, but obviously if I'm here I'm always looking for better...
That being said what would be a good amp/cable combo to really get the most out of my music? I know this is a highly subjective question so opinions are definitely encouraged, especially if you've amped the Shures. I also have started playing with some Triple.fi's and I like the treble a bit better than the 530's, so I find myself using the UE's more and more. If I had to describe the difference, I find the UE's considerably brighter, and the Shures more neutral.
I don't want to spend an arm and both legs, but maybe a finger or two would be alright. There is just so much information on here my head is spinning...
