What has happened to www.meier-audio.com? It's now a **** site.

I got kind of surprised when I tried to surf to Jan Meier's website.

Wild guess? He probably spaced out on renewing his payment for the domain name... this even happened to Microsoft at one point (someone caught it in time and brought it to their attention). There seem to be a lot of people waiting in the wings to grab domains that get a fair number of hits.

.com seems to be a little wild west. .se has some rules which prohibits domain jacking. A registered domain can be taken away in Sweden.

Woow, that was even a surprise to me!

But no, I'm not in ****-business (yet)!



The history is, that 2 years ago some of our fellow-Head-Fiers registered the domain www.meier-audio.com and redirected it to my home-page. I never asked him to do so, but he just wanted to do me a favour. The address has expired and I registered my own address:

www.meier-audio.de

IIRC the .de suffix corresponds to Deutschland (Germany) right?

Jan, the banner on www.head-fi.org goes to the right place, but it says .com . You might want to change that.
