They closed shop and left people like me bewildered.

Recently I got a message from Oliver who was their (I guess?) client relations guy, but it was actually a spam e-mail. Someone took ownership of their e-mail accounts (don't type that URL in because it's spam):

Anyway I remember the story about how NwAvGuy vanished way back when (see this story: http://spectrum.ieee.org/geek-life/profiles/nwavguy-the-audio-genius-who-vanished),
and how Epiphany Acoustics were one of the companies which made amps based on his design.

But now they're out of business..

So, who else is still making amps based on NwAvGuy's original designs?

I'm still using my Epiphany EHPO2Di, and despite some minor nitpicks about the sturdiness of the design it's a brilliant amp. Who or what company is picking up the torch after Epiphany Acoustics?

I bought an Objective DAC in 2014 from http://www.headnhifi.com/ in Switzerland.

They have them, as well as the O2 amplifier, listed on the website together with various related components.

  This link works just fine:
http://epiphany-acoustics.co.uk/

Maybe you typed it in wrong or something else is going on with your system?

Have you guys actually opened the link?

It's right there on the home page:

Epiphany Acoustics is now closed for business.

We would like to thank all our customers and suppliers for supporting us over the years- happy listening!

That's why I'm posting this. I really loved the amps based on NwAvGuy's designs and would love to see what other company may have picked up the pace.

OK - point taken.  It certainly didn't look like a spam page that you included in your original post.  I admit to not reading closely enough to recognize that they have apparently gone out of business.

That happens ... kudos to Epiphany Acoustics for being honest about it.

I would suggest you look at JDS Labs or Mayflower Electronics.  Personally, the O2 and ODAC are not my cup of tea, but whatever makes you happy.

Jed's labs c5d or cmoybb? I'm planning on using a portable amp or amp+ dac full time, until I get a bottle head crack. Then I will only use the portable amp or amp + dac once a month or less from my phone. I just won't have time to build the crack for 4-5 months.
